Weather, News and Online Search: services that disappeared from your iDrive can return on compatible vehicles with active, eligible ConnectedDrive services.
This does not replace a BMW subscription. Availability is checked per VIN, region and service.
BMW EXPERT Diagnostics
Fault memory and service information on the vehicle display. BMW EXPERT Diagnostics works inside iDrive, without an external computer to display the results.
Tested reads from 15/15 responding modules on our demonstration vehicle. Coverage varies by vehicle.

Our Android Auto implementation runs directly on your head unit and uses the original display. No extra hardware, MMI box or replacement screen. Remote installation is available after a compatibility check.

Availability is confirmed for your specific vehicle and iDrive unit. Our team checks compatibility before every installation.
05 / TELEMATICS & INSTALLATION
Connectivity starts with the right hardware.
TCB → ATM 4G
Telematics upgrades for eligible NBT1 / EntryNav1-era vehicles. TCB to ATM 4G conversion supports the move to NBT EVO and a longer connectivity life, subject to network and BMW service support.
No factory modem?
We retrofit a standalone telematics module in eligible early 2013–2014 F-series vehicles without factory telematics provision. Hardware, wiring, antennas and service activation eligibility are assessed before conversion.
Installed remotely.
Where compatible, our team can install remotely with suitable installation equipment, a reliable connection and stable power support. Hardware retrofits require physical work.
Remote installation is technician-assisted. It is not an automatic OTA installation through the vehicle modem.

Do I need an active ConnectedDrive subscription?
Yes, for connected apps. Installation does not bypass subscriptions, service availability or VIN eligibility.
Is it ready for every NBT EVO?
NBT EVO is offered on demand after assessment. We verify your iDrive unit and vehicle configuration before installation.
Can you install it remotely?
On compatible systems, yes, with technician assistance, a suitable connection and power support. Modem or wiring retrofits require physical work on the car.
Is this an official BMW product?
No. This is an independent BMW EXPERT implementation powered by Metis Intelligence. BMW, MINI, iDrive and ConnectedDrive are trademarks of their respective owners.
